Corfu: AFGJ along with Corfiote Jews and their descendants from around the world will be raising the funds necessary for the estimated 28,000 Euros restoration of the cemetery. There are a number of 19th century tombstones (with inscriptions in Hebrew and Italian) from the former cemetery that will form the bulk of the restoration project. Association of Friends of Greek Jewry (AFGJ) will be working actively with the Jewish Community of Corfu on this.
