WINDECKEN: Windecken is a district of Nidderau with about 7,000 inhabitants in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis in Hesse. The Jewish community was destroyed by the Nazis. Nidderau was created in the merger of the municipality of Heldenbergen with the town of Windecken on January 1, 1970.
