Burials for this town were in Gross Gereau until 1923. There were only a total of 6 burials here. There might have also been some during WWII from Gross Gereau. The then mayor of Russelsheim is said to have stated, "As soon as R. is "judenfrei" (free of all Jews) this cemetery too will be destroyed."
