OLD CEMETERY: Located Mollhauser Graben, Judengraben. Use: expanded in 1758, 1772 and 1796; until about 1828 to ?. Visible gravestones: None. According to Bialas there was a previous burial ground, about whom nothing is known. Early 19th century a part of the land has been sold by the city, which led to a dispute with the Jewish community, they lost 1828 final. [Sep 2012]

CEMETERY: Located Am Sacktor, at the moat (hall 18, No. 39). Used about 1828/30 to 1971. Visible gravestones: 285. Under the Nazis the cemetery was devastated. The post-war municipality built a memorial from the rubble of gravestones. [Sep 2012]
