"The great Jewish Cemetery Association in Bödigheim on the road to Waldhausen (Parcel 10385 "Jewish Cemetery" next parcel 10386-88 "Jews field" area 140.69 a) may existed in the late Middle Ages (15./16th century). This cemetery served up to 30 Jewish communities between Strümpfelbrunn (Waldbrunn) and Angel Türn (Boxberg) as a burial site (1932 served ten municipalities). Estimates of the number of graves are from 2000 to 4000, in 2000 or 1573 documentation of the cemetery graves were counted (the oldest preserved stone of 1628). Existing: a cemetery hall of 1888 (1984) with the hearse (1910) and a (damaged) wooden carrier, a war memorial for the Jewish victims of World War II, a house designed as a memorial stone bench of the brothers Adolf, Albert and Sigmund Rothschild of Eberstadt for their 1st World War fallen brother Simon, a plaque for the "victims of Fascism" with the name of a part of the Kleineicholzheim perished Jewish residents."
